Education Consultants for Mathematics We are looking to hire the best and talented professionals Candidates need to provide professional development opportunities advice and support school staff ( principals ,Vice Principals, Subject Co-coordinators and teachers )… Mainly the Educational Consultants will be involved in supporting professionals development opportunities, as well as specific mentoring and coaching opportunities, for Educational Institute staff and, as appropriate, school based staff.. Specific Tasks involve :- Support & Monitor the Implementations of Client policies and guidelines in the area of Science teaching in all schools Undertake research that identifies the current state of mathematics teaching practice in schools, with the aim of suggesting actions plans to address areas of weakness Collect data on how well the mathematics curriculum standards are being implemented and the variety of issues teachers face when teaching mathematics Provide advice and guidance on how to improve mathematics teaching in the Qatari context ( including the use of English as the language of instruction ) Provide advice and guidance to schools in selection , development and use of teaching materisas and resources ( Commercially produced and home made items ) Review the current progrmme of mathematics training for teachers with the professional development framework. Undertake projects that encourage more pupils to study mathematics in the future, particularly girls. Support and further develop the skills of mathematics specialists working within the Education Institute team. Contribute to the Master Trainer Programme for school based staff Develop, Deliver and evaluate effectiveness & provide development Opportunities for ( Entry, proficient & Advance level, within the framework of national professional Standards of Teachers and School leaders ) Collect, Collate and analyze data in order to inform strategic planning. Qualifications, Experience and Skills Higher level Degree in an Appropriate Subject ( Advance Diploma, Masters Degree, PhD) Qualification in leadership / Management Qualification in designing and delivering professional development packages Experience as a Classroom Teacher / School Principal / School Advisor / Educational Consultant / School Inspector. Experience of working in an Arabic Speaking Country. Must have done mentoring and coaching professionals. Also should be strong in designing, delivering and evaluation professional development packages for other professionals Experience of working across all ranges ( KG-12 and post compulsory ) Skills – Excellent Interpersonal Skills , Good Communication Skills, Effective Arabic Communication Skills Excellent Organizational Skills with Presentation skills Candidate preferred would be from New Zealand, Australia, Canada,Britain,USA,Europe .. Experience of working in an Arabic Speaking Country.
